Launch PONT

“The creative industry must be involved in societal challenges,” to many in the creative sector a now familiar phrase from the coalition agreement. To reinforce this aspiration, State Secretary Gunay Uslu of Culture and Media is investing nine million euros in a three-year programme called De Publieke Ontwerppraktijk (PONT). Dutch Design Foundation and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science are joining forces. The goal of this multi-year collaboration? To increase the impact of a design approach to social issues.
