Limitless cooperation – De Plint
Room for better collaboration! Come to the brainstorm and think along!
The central government’s Opgavehuis De Plint (translation: Taskhouse De Plint) is an intermediate space to support the task-oriented way of working together. How can we apply the ideas underlying De Plint to every (meeting) room? Would you like to think creatively about this? Then come to our brainstorm on 23 October in ‘The Square’ in the glasshouse of the ‘Designing Society’ expo on Ketelhuisplein.

We hope that the creative environment of Dutch Design Week will inspire us to come up with new ideas and especially to see what can already be done (differently) in spaces within government buildings. How can you use space to innovate, collaborate and experiment with complex tasks?
In any case, De Plint is a working environment with an open-door policy; a place where it is easy to meet, without gates, access passes and fuss. Everyone is welcome. And what else is true of De Plint is:
- The space is unfinished, which leaves room for individual interpretation and encourages ownership.
- The space is neutral. So it facilitates a degree of equality and openness to share freely.
- The space provides low-threshold interaction between different parties.
- The space is at street level, thus forming the first step between inside and outside.
With these guiding principles, we enter into a super-fast brainstorm together with you. And who knows, we might just come up with ideas that are immediately applicable! Have you become enthusiastic to think along with us? Then we look forward to seeing you on 23 October! Register via: DePlint@Rijksoverheid.nl
