Monthly Meetup – Health
The Embassy of Health organises a monthly online meetup. Every month, a different subject, theme or question is central, and we discuss this. We invite you to join us and share your knowledge.
The theme of the Meetup in March is personal control. How can people, supported by technology, take more ownership of their health? What does this mean for the relationship between doctor and patient?
Waag presents the first insights from the Beter Leven research project, which mapped out what patients need in order to take more control of their treatment, and what support this requires from doctors. During the Meetup we will discuss these insights. We will examine what is needed to promote personal control and how this contributes to citizen science in a broader sense.
