Super Fake Safari
More than two million people in the Netherlands live with a form of neurodiversity, or learning difference, such as autism, dyslexia and ADHD. For half of these people, their conditions are mild. Research has shown that people within this group can be particularly vulnerable to online crime, both as victims and perpetrators. Mediajungle develops educational tools to support and build a user’s online resilience and selfreliance. The Super Fake Safari is a combination of a puzzle and a (web) app, in which four different forms of disinformation are treated in an understandable, playful and interactive way.
During this presentation, Niels Bloembergen takes you on a Super Fake Safari and shows how, with relatively small adjustments, a government organisation or company can make their tools and services (more) suitable for people with (mild) learning differences.
