This is Overijssel #1: The future of agriculture

In the programme series ‘This is Overijssel!’, Biobased Creations and Museum De Fundatie together with farmers, citizens, bankers, builders and policy makers investigate how we can think and act more biobased and circular on a regional level. Hosted by Lucas De Man (curator Embassy of Circular & Biobased Building), we will enter into dialogue with each other and with local experts. Creative pioneers will introduce us to a different view of our materials today and in the future. After the programme, there will be plenty of time to chat over a drink. Prior to the programme, we suggest you visit the Design by Nature exhibition in Museum De Fundatie and see for yourself what is possible when we design with nature.

The first session will be centred around the future of agriculture and will take place on Tuesday 17 August at 20:00.

We can work more locally, deplete less of the soil and grow more of tomorrow’s materials. If we reconsider our surroundings, there are many opportunities. What is the potential in Overijssel for cultivating the materials of the future, while continuing to consider human needs?
