Verbal and non-verbal communication – what’s the difference?
The sense of time plays an important role for participants of training in non-verbal communication. That’s why participants are always fully focused on this new way of sensory perception. During the training, they will experience cognitive dissonances and they literally feel handicapped for a few minutes. Regardless of their personal physical or mental limitations.
If participants dare to engage in the exercises of the training, they grow stronger in their sensory perceptions. They experience feelings of (healthy) well-being. How different will their way of communication continue?
This workshop offers the opportunity to discuss what it means to live with a handicap, physical or mental limitation. It also focuses on what aspects can interfere with communication in general. Maybe there are no boundaries, only the way of communicating that distinguishes one group from the other. The practices in this workshop provide participants with personal experiences to take home.
