Sustainable agriculture and nature as a catalyst towards Mooi NL
Healthy soil, clean air, and pure water are increasingly under pressure, partly due to climate change. However, each area in the Netherlands is different, so the quality of these three elements varies by region. This calls for a regional approach that integrates multiple challenges.
During the expeditions, this core team explored two different regions and their paths to transition. First, they studied Aldeboarn-De Deelen, one of the development areas from the Friese Veenweideprogramma. For the second expedition, the group traveled to Grenspark Groot Saeftinghe in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen, a border region where nature, port, and agriculture all have a place.
