Artist Anouk De Clercq calls this work ‘a protest song for the 21st century’. I think it is beautiful to see how the woman in this film inspires, incites to action. To me, this work perfectly sums up the ambition of the whole labyrinth. She doesn’t want to tell her story, she wants you to think: you know what’s going on, why aren’t you doing anything? “One” is a wake-up call and invitation in one: embrace complexity and face the world energetically.
