The Exploded View is longlisted for the Dezeen Awards 2022
The Exploded View of the Embassy of Circular & Biobased Building is on the longlist of the Dezeen Awards in the category “sustainable building”!
During DDW21, The Embassy of Circular & Biobased Building presented an iconic exhibition in the form of a house that consists entirely of biobased materials, circular building methods and stories about the changing value chain of which it is part. Walls made of algae, home-grown vegetables on the wall and a kitchen made from leftover food; this life-size biobased house stimulates all your senses and shows you the circular future. With over 100 biobased materials, The Exploded View Beyond Building aims to show what is already possible when it comes to building with nature, and what will be possible in the very near future.
Through research, experiment, storytelling, imagination and encounters, this Embassy works on new perspectives for sustainable (circular and biobased) construction and living; a circular living environment. The Exploded View – Beyond Building is currently on show at Floriade Expo 2022 (April 14 – October 9, 2022) in Almere.
