Webinar: Design approach in the public sector

On December 12, PONT hosted a webinar* with inspiring cases and insights on design-based working within public organisations.

Increasingly, public organisations are working with a design approach to tackle social issues. This approach is experimental, people-oriented and takes into account the system around an issue. This makes it an interesting working method for complex social challenges. By involving different perspectives, using the power of imagination and testing what works in real life cases, this approach helps to work on change step by step.

During this webinar, PONT programme director Nynke Tromp explains, through inspiring examples, exactly what a designing approach entails. Also, Suzanne van der Zaan, Strategic Design consultant at Eindhoven Municipality and Tim Haarlemmer, partner at design agency Shoshin, share their insights from practice.
